The Pinotage is a dry red wine with fruity flavours and a hint of spice, also, to the lighter sides of our red wines. You will be able to taste plum, blackberry and dark chocolate. (Similar to the Merlot) You could say that Pinotage is an alternative to Merlot because of the similar taste profiles, but they are still two different cultivars.
